Good content but hard going
The book outlines a six step process for using Adwords and it’s written by someone who says he is the first specialist author to be copyrighted on the subject.
It gives some good advice on the various tools/services available for keyword research. In fact there is plenty of good content in the book but I have a couple of reservations
1 – the writing style could be punchier. I’m reading a series of these books about PPC/Adwords at the moment and this one seems a bit dull.
2 – the presentation of the contents could be better. I’d like to see more use of subheadings, words in bold or italics and lists to help you to skim over bits you already know and zero in on those parts that are particularly relevant.
The danger is that it becomes one of those books that you start but don’t finish.
That would be a shame because the content is thorough for a low cost book. On the plus side, if you prefer to watch video presentations, the same content is available in that format although that option doesn’t appeal to me.
