Packed with ideas to get more clients

This short, concise book is made up of a series of articles. Unlike the author’s other book Personal Training Sales, I didn’t feel there was much repetition and I can only remember one time when terms were used before they had been explained.

What you get when you buy this book is a series of ideas about marketing for fitness businesses written by someone very experienced in this market. That inside knowledge of what works (in America) is worth a great deal. [continue reading…]

Don’t judge the book by the cover

I found something reassuringly familiar about this book and then I discovered that both the author and I are Certified Guerrilla Marketing Coaches.

It’s not a book about Guerrilla Marketing (Jay Conrad Levinson) as such but, not surprisingly, I found a lot to like in it. [continue reading…]

It’s dangerous to only have one lead generation technique

I was surprised that this hasn’t been reviewed at Amazon.co.uk when I was looking for other Michael Masterson books so I thought I’d give my quick impressions before coming back to write a longer review.

Are You Prepared To Try The Dark Side?

As no one else has reviewed Demand Side Economics, I thought I’d share my thoughts as I read it.

As I started, it felt like I was taking a step into the Dark Side where what was good is now evil and what was evil, is now considered to be good.

I suspect that the author and I have very different political beliefs. He’s on the left, perhaps on the far left. I’m not. [continue reading…]

This is probably how you’d like to be treated as a customer

This is a short quote from the book to give you a flavour:

The world is in big trouble

I used to be sceptical about climate change but the more I read, for and against, the more I started to believe that we face a devastating problem that could destroy the world as we know it.

This book starts really strong and pulls together the reasons why there is little talk and even less action to correct the carbon emissions into the atmosphere. [continue reading…]
