In ,my review posted on Amazon.co.uk, I gave it Three Stars. This means Worthwhile.

Good content but hard going
The book outlines a six step process for using Adwords and it’s written by someone who says he is the first specialist author to be copyrighted on the subject. [continue reading…]

10 Ways For Any Business To Easily Make More Money!
by Brian Koz & Shawn Casey posted on Amazon.co.uk, I gave it Three Stars.
Here is my review.
Disappointed because it has a misleading title
This book has a misleading title since it is really about Internet marketing with tips on search engine optimisation, pay per click ads, social media, youtube, mobile apps etc.
Each articles seems to be written by a different person. I made the mistake of downloading this without looking at the Kindle sample and returned it because it wasn’t what I was after at this time.

Google AdWords – The Ultimate Beginner’s Guide To Succeeding With Adwords
In my review posted on Amazon.co.uk, I gave it 2 Stars.
Here is my review.
Disappointing.
I’m biased against any book that claims to be the “ultimate” and I see that there are several Adwords/Pay per Click books that do exactly that. How can any book be described as the best let alone the best there will ever be by the author? [continue reading…]

More of a promotional tool than an informative book – useful if you outsource
This is a short book for anyone who has started a Google Adwords campaign but isn’t getting much success. Bitter experience of my own experience and that of clients (before they talk to me) shows that it can be an expensive way of promoting a business if some of the basics are overlooked. The Co-Creation Paradigm by Venkat Ramaswamy & Kerimcan Ozcan
posted on Amazon.co.uk, I gave it 2 Stars.
Here is my review.
Disappointed.
I found this hard going and returned it. It didn’t help that I didn’t have an empathy with the examples.
I was new to the work that Venkat Ramaswamy has done on co-creation and perhaps I’d have been better off starting with one of the earlier books or even his Harvard Business Review articles.

Copywriting and the Unique Selling Proposition: Take Your Advertising To The Next Level
In my review posted on Amazon.co.uk, I gave it 3 Stars.
Here is my review.
The emphasis is on copywriting
I bought this book because of its prominent use of the USP concept in its title. I should have realised that its focus is more on copywriting.
Whilst there are better general books on copywriting, this is worth reading if you write copy although the format as a kindle e-book isn’t as good as it should be. It’s less relevant if you want to know how to differentiate your business and there are better books that help you to look at the process.

Defining a Dynamic USP: Crafting a Compelling Message to Attract Your Ideal Client
In my review posted on Amazon.co.uk, I gave it Three Stars. This means Worthwhile.
Here is my review.
Short but a nice process
This is a short guide to help you to think about how you can differentiate your business from your competitors through a short statement called a unique selling proposition or USP.
The author rightly encourages you to think about your potential customers and what they need, your competitors and what they offer and your product or service. Once you’ve done this analysis work, you can identify the best positioning for your business so that it is distinctly different from your competitors. [continue reading…]

Find Your Own Unique Selling Proposition: Getting Ahead With USP
In my review posted on Amazon.co.uk, I gave the book Two Stars.
Here is my review.
Disappointing presentation and content
My first impressions weren’t good. I hadn’t expected this to be so small, it’s little more than a pamphlet. To add insult to injury, the contents are in a very small, sans serif font which makes it quite difficult to read, despite the double spacing between lines. [continue reading…]

Transcripts of various telephone conversations
This is a bit odd. It is the transcript from several telephone conversations between an American consultant, Michael and Nick, the owner of a medium sized website hosting company with about 5,000 clients. It is also quite old which you may find off-putting if you’re an up-to-date techie. [continue reading…]

For big companies only
I had high hopes of finding a kindred spirit with this book.
