The full title of this book by Dr Philip Kim is
“Chase One Rabbit: 10 Habits that Move You from Failure to Success“.
In my review at Amazon.co.uk, I rated the book at the Four Stars level, this means that I consider it to be good to very good.
This is what I posted.
A fine first book for someone interested in “self help”
I was drawn to this book because, in my coaching when I talk about focus, I quote a Confucius saying “the man who chases two rabbits, catches neither.”
I’ve just reviewed another kindle book where I was very critical of the format. I’d encourage the author to update the book with a table of contents to allow readers to jump ahead to the habit they want to refresh when they revisit . It’s a small point but it make a book much easier to use.
This book is written with a lot of charm as the author tells stories of his previous misdeeds. In fact, he’s a natural storyteller.
The book itself is packed with sound advice to help you to make changes in your life . Its scope is wide and I think you’ll find it inspiring.
Before I started working with small business owners, I was quite dismissive of these “inner game” issues but I’ve seen too many situations where they are the fundamental causes of problems within the underlying business. Quite simply, if the business owner isn’t thinking clear and doesn’t have clear goals and priorities which he or she is disciplined enough to see through to the end, the business is in trouble. Even if it is turned around in the short term, problems will reappear unless the business owner develops a winning approach.
I think thus is a fine place to dip your toes into the world of self help. If you’re a regular reader, I don’t think there’s anything here to knock you back on your bum with surprise but it may be a fine refresher.
