A nice introduction but you’ll need to know more
This is a nice, easy to read introduction to promoting your business on Facebook.
It places a big emphasis on the idea that Facebook is a very different kind of marketing media compared with more traditional ways of making contact with customers.
It’s much less about promoting offers than about building special relationships. Because people on Facebook are not in a “marketing zone”, it is easy to cause offence by being too salesy.
Where I felt the book could be improved was that it would have been nice to see more examples of Facebook advertising campaigns across different types of business and it was also short of advice on how to build Facebook ads.
