Getting the Most Out of Pay-Per-Click Ads by Ryan Stable

The full title of the book by Ryan Stable is

Getting the Most Out of Pay-Per-Click Ads for Small Business Owners in 2016 and Beyond

In my review posted on Amazon.co.uk, I gave it 3 Stars.

Here is my review.

Ambitious review of various PPC methods

This is a more substantial book than many of the low cost or Kindle Unlimited books available.

Its broad scope is its downfall because it is hard to do justice to the many different networks. More details are given to Google Adwords, Facebook and Twitter than some of the others.

It’s Adwords that I know best and I thought what was written was solid without being exceptional. The book could do with some subtitles, images and highlights to make it more appealing to read and easier to go back to and find specific advice.

The book would also be better with examples to emphasise the importance of having the right keywords and using negative words. The same applies with Ads as experienced practitioners know that an apparently minor change in words can have a dramatic boost in click through rates.

In theory a direct response marketing technique like PPC should be an investment and not a cost. Spreading yourself across networks before your campaign is consistently positive is a way to waste a lot of money.

I felt that this is one of the stronger low cost and Kindle Unlimited books.
