The 2005 version was very good at the time but now well out of date
This is the book (2005 edition) that inspired me to start a blog and I thought it was excellent when I first read it in 2007.
The author gathered together a series of articles written by people who have been at the forefront of the Internet revolution and these articles fit together beautifully to form a broad guide to Online or Internet Marketing.
Unfortunately time moves on particularly quickly for any book written about the Internet. Many of the articles in my edition are now well past their sell by date, even if some advice is still relevant.
The good news is that Mitch Meyerson has updated the book in 2015 and that’s one you should probably read if you want a broad introduction to the different ways to market online. I admit I haven’t seen the latest version and my own interests have become more specialised than this broad view can support.
