The full title of this book by Mike Michalowicz is
“The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur: The tell-it-like-it-is guide to cleaning up in business, even if you are at the end of your roll.”
In my review on Amazon.co.uk., I gave the book a rating of Four Stars. This means I think it is in the range of good to very good.
Here is my book review.
A hard hitting book about having a “just do it” mental attitude for new entrepreneurs
The analogy about the shortage of toilet paper when needed will take you places you don’t want to go but it does make the point of having to make do when resources are short.
With such an opening, you probably expect the language to be adult in places and it is but I didn’t feel it was overly offensive. [continue reading…]

In my review posted on Amazon.co.uk, I gave the book Four Stars. This means I think it is Good and Well Worth Reading.
Here is my book review.
An interesting approach but you need to understand when it is and is not appropriate
I made a mistake and didn’t try the kindle sample before buying. I didn’t like the writing style.
The book argues that the way we look at profit is to look at it first.
It shouldn’t be revenue minus costs equals profit but revenue minus profit equals costs. You force costs based to be what they need to be. [continue reading…]
