I then extended it to look at the different versions with widely varying number of P’s. I’ve now decided to have separate articles for each of the different number of marketing P’s.
The original marketing mix that has become widely known is Product, Price, Promotion and Place.
The 15 P’s of Marketing
Version 1 of the 15 Ps Of Marketing
Product Price Place Promotion People Process Physical Evidence Privacy Personal Interest Personal Social Networks Public Commentary Personalization Participation Peer to Peer Predictive Modeling
Four more P’s were added to reflect online marketing – privacy, personal interest, personal networks and public commentary to reflect the new power of the consumer to be heard through social media reviews.
Idris Mootee developed a “New 4Ps” model of Nomadic Marketing in 2001 to supplement the traditional marketing mix by adding Personalization, Participation, Peer-to-Peer and Predictive Modelling.
Personalisation refers to how products and services can be increasingly customised. Participation refelects the new two-way conversation for what a brand stands for. Peer to peer recognises the growing influence of other customers to influence buying decisions through referral and recommendations and predictive modelling is the clever stuff that predicts the probability of outcomes.
Version 2
And here is another 15 P’ s of marketing which are difficult to pick up.

This is interesting because it takes the original and most famous version of the 4 P’s Of marketing.
It then adds the next three to create the 7Ps Service Marketing Mix.
Four more P’s were added to reflect online marketing – privacy, personal interest, personal networks and public commentary to reflect the new power of the consumer to be heard through social media reviews.
