Plenty of questions about your business
I don’t like the title of this book and believe it will take you longer to read it than 30 minutes and much, much longer to answer some of the questions.
My other concern is that, when time may be so limited, it doesn’t help you prioritise urgent actions .
That said, the book raises plenty of excellent points although I would quibble about some of them. It is easy to say do this and that but much harder to do them. Some of them are wishes rather than practical ideas.
It’s one thing to say you need to look for ways to increase your margins, it’s another to say (as the book does), charge high margins because you deserve them. You only deserve high prices if you’re genuinely different from your competitors in ways that add value to customers.
The price to buy this book is ridiculous (£92.78). If you don’t have an Amazon Kindle subscription, get one because the book isn’t worth buying at anything like that price.
However, there are better turnaround books available than this one and you must not get caught in the trap of reading book after book. If you have a failing business, you need to stop procrastinating and start taking constructive actions.
