Overwhelming and you can’t find what you need to know. I expected much better.

This book is huge at over 700 pages and as such, it’s also very daunting.

The author has interviewed many leaders in different fields and has tried to bring together the best of the best ideas. Interspersed between the interview snippets and summaries are sections written by the author where he shares his compiled knowledge. [continue reading…]

First I should point of the author has written a book about the Law of Attraction.

That concept of “think about what you want and you’ll get it” might put you off but I think there’s something in it. Or at least in getting clear about your direction, identifying actions that will help and then doing them very effectively. Practical advice on using postcard in your marketing

A useful book that can help you to use postcards in your marketing.

It would have been much better if it had included examples since you need immediate impact with this technique of direct mail. Postcards get a glance but the photo or headline on either side must be strong enough to demand more attention and get the card read. Otherwise, it’s all too easy to dismiss it as “junk mail”.

What’s in the book is fine but I feel you need to know more if you’re going to use postcards as part of your marketing campaigns.

In its day, this would have been an excellent source of advice but it urgently needs an update

Many of the low cost or free to read with a Kindle Unlimited subscription are skimpy and miss of much but this used to be the real deal. Not perfect but very good.

The problem is that it was written in 2010 and 2011 according to the copyright at the beginning of the book. PPC through Google Adwords has changed significantly since then and the social media networks have also become major drivers of traffic. [continue reading…]
