Get Out of Your Rut Now: A 20-minute Guide with Proven Tactics To Overcome Procrastination, Achieve Your Goals and Get The Results You Really Want and Need Right Now
In my review posted on Amazon.co.uk, I gave the book 4 Stars. This means it is Good and Well Worth Reading.
Here is my review.
The talk you probably need to hear
The book starts with the author admitting he’s writing the book because he’s in a rut and has set himself two days to follow a process to reduce procrastination and achieve a goal.
This could be a very short book which never reaches the end.
Well it is short, just as the subtitle promises. It is very focused, giving you the talk you probably need to hear.
It’s well written and focuses on you taking action now. Something big, something small or something tiny. Make the decision and get into action. If you can’t do a big task, do a smaller one.
I’ve given it four rather than five stars because it doesn’t go into doing the right things, not just anything. It doesn’t look at prioritising towards a clear goal or getting the motivation to drive forward. The author will probably argue it’s outside the scope of the book but I’m not sure many readers will agree.
