Loan Sharp is an excellent book from Rob Warlow packed with practical tips on how you can get the business finance you need.
What makes the book so special is that the author takes you into the world of the small business banker so you can see how and why they make the decisions they do.
Loan Sharp has a detailed look at the banker’s acronym CAMPARI which explains how your loan will be assessed (Character, Ability, Margin, Purpose, Amount, Repayment, Insurance). It’s not the only method used but it does shine the spotlight on the issues relevant to the bank which you need to answer.
Armed with this information, you know what you need to do to get your bank to say Yes to your loan or overdraft application.
This book is highly recommended for any small business owner or want to be small business owner who needs to borrow money.
