Packed with important lessons
Many years ago, I bought an excellent audio training product by the author that provided detailed implementation advice for Jay Abraham style marketing and profit building strategies. Since then he’s been one of my favourite experts and I’ve been looking forward to the time when he publishes his first book.
My wait is finally over with this book structured around interviews with entrepreneurs who have achieved remarkable business growth. It’s packed with important lessons for those who want to build high growth businesses but these lessons also apply for business owners with more modest ambitions.
Many business owners find their plans frustrated because they get stuck and, if they stay stuck, the business can drift into reverse and even failure.
You’ll see the title is the 7 Success Drivers to HyperGrowth. If I’d been reading the book before publication, I’d have asked the author to briefly introduce these seven drivers at the start of the book rather than having them explained as asides in or after the interviews. He also keeps referring to invisible growth barriers which are overcome by the success drivers. I’d have liked him to be more explicit about these growth barriers and the symptoms that manifest in businesses.
Even with these issues, I feel this is an important book to read. It covers many of the areas I believe are important for success and you’ll see how they apply in many different types of business.
